Before You Call: God Already Knows! (Don’t Stop Seeking)

(Before you start to read, we want to encourage you to grab your Bible, your journal and something to write with.)

📖 Main Scripture: Isaiah 65:24

“I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!”

Background:

Isaiah 65 is God’s response through the Prophet Isaiah to the cries and prayers found in Isaiah 63:7 through 64:12. The Gentiles believed God had gone silent on them and had finally become fed up with their sinful ways and impurities.

During their prayer, they reminded God of all the times He had been there for them. They blamed Him for allowing them to fall out of alignment and for hardening their hearts. They even questioned whether they truly belonged to Him in the first place.

How could people who constantly sinned still be saved?

How could people who had wandered so far from God ever be redeemed?

Have you ever been mad at God?

These thoughts, beliefs, and misconceptions come from the mind of a rebellious person. According to Isaiah 65:2, rebellious people are those who:

“walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations.”

God’s response to their cries begins with this:

“I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’”

Isaiah 65:1

God was saying:

“I am here. I have always been here. I never left you nor forsook you. But you cannot hear Me because you have chosen your own way. You are no longer in My presence because I am no longer in yours.”

MYYYYYY God today!

DON’T STOP YOUR SEEK!!

Keep seeking God’s direction for your life.

Keep seeking His Word.

Keep seeking His presence, His power, His anointing, His glory, His unfailing love, and His unchanging hand.

Every waking moment God gives us, we have a choice:

God’s way or our own way.

And we must understand that even a person who appears to choose God’s way can still operate in pride. Isaiah 65:5 speaks about those who say:

“Don’t come near me, for I am holier than you!”

Mmmmhm...

God says people with that mindset are like smoke in His nostrils, a stench that never goes away.

God is looking for the Remnant .

The ones who say:

“God, I’m not perfect. I’ve had setbacks, major failures, and minor failures... but I’m ready.”

Not just people who quote Scripture, but people who LIVE it.

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)

Applying Scripture to our daily lives faithfully.

How many of you know we serve a God who will answer you before you even call on Him?

While you are still talking about your needs, He is already moving on your behalf.

He knows your heart.

He knows your posture.

He is an ALL-KNOWING GOD.

Reflection Questions:

Will you choose Him every day?

Will you choose Him when it’s difficult?

Will you choose Him when it’s inconvenient?

We know you chose God today because you’re here on The Surrendered Walk reading your daily dose of encouragement and truth.

That alone deserves to be celebrated.

Celebrate yourself.

You’ve made it this far in your journey.

But oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.

He is strong and mighty!

Prayer For Our Brothers & Sisters

God we thank you for the reader on today. God may you cover them in your divine blood as they continue to walk this journey surrendering fully unto you. Allowing you to take over and consume everything about them.

Father make them in your image, when people see them they see you, your light that shines ever so brightly on a world that is so cruel and dark. God may in the mist of trials, tribulations, and afflictions they seek your face, your response, but most importantly.

oh God, your WORD that is made rich and adds no sorrow.

Glory to God. Father we thank you now and we bless your Holy name for you are righteous and we glorify you above ALL!!
