I Still Have My Yes‼️

📖 Main Scripture: 2 Corinthians 1:19–22
There comes a point in your walk with Christ where you have to ask yourself, “Do I still have my yes?”
Not the yes you give when everything is going right. Not the yes you give after God blesses you with the car, the job, the open door, or the answered prayer.
I’m talking about the yes that remains when life is uncomfortable, when obedience costs you something, when people misunderstand you, and when the enemy tries to wear you down.

Paul wrote to the church in Corinth during a time of chaos, division, sin, confusion, and false teaching. He reminded them that Jesus Christ does not waver between yes and no. God’s promises are fulfilled in Christ with a resounding Yes, and through Christ, our Amen rises back to God for His glory.
That means God is not unstable. He is not confused. He does not speak and then change His mind. When God gives a promise, He is faithful to perform it.
But here is the question: Will we remain faithful with our yes?
Before Paul was Paul, he was Saul. He persecuted believers. He arrested people for following Jesus. Yet God met him, blinded him, humbled him, and transformed him. Even after his change, people still questioned him because they remembered who he used to be.

Have you ever changed, but people still only saw the old you?
Paul knew what that felt like. He suffered for the gospel. He was beaten, imprisoned, shipwrecked, robbed, and rejected. Yet through it all, he stayed on assignment. He was about his Father’s business, and nothing was able to take his yes.
We have to understand that every day we wake up, we make a choice. We choose obedience or disobedience. We choose surrender or control. We choose faith or fear.
And yes, it is easy to say, “Yes, Lord,” when everything feels good. But what about in the middle of a trial? What about when you are stepping out on faith? What about when you cannot see the way forward?
That is when our yes gets tested.

Sometimes we give our yes away without even realizing it. Someone cuts us off in traffic and we lose control. Someone calls us out of our name and we respond in the same spirit. Someone offends us and we let bitterness take over.
But what does God say about you?
You are fearfully and wonderfully made.
You are chosen.
You are His.
You are not powerless.
Isaiah 40:29 reminds us that God gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. So even when life looks like a no, even when it feels like there is no way out, no answer, no open door, and no way through, we serve a God who makes the impossible possible.
He qualifies the unqualified.
He makes a way out of no way.
He prepares tables in the presence of enemies.
He opens doors no man can shut.
And all He wants is your yes.

Your yes matters because people are assigned to your obedience. There are people watching your walk. There are people who will be strengthened by your testimony. There are people who may come to know God because you refused to quit.
Sometimes people come to you for prayer, encouragement, clarity, or comfort because God has placed something in you that they need. Yes, they have access to God too, but maybe their heart is not postured to receive Him yet. So God uses your obedience, your surrender, and your testimony to point them back to Him.
That is why you cannot let suffering steal your yes.
You cannot let offense steal your yes.
You cannot let fear steal your yes.
You cannot let people steal your yes.
You cannot let your past steal your yes.
God will test your yes, but He will also strengthen you to keep it.
❤️🩹Heart Check:
So today, ask yourself:
Do I still have my yes?
Will I obey even when it is hard?
Will I trust God when I cannot see the outcome?
Will I let Him do the work in me and through me?
Because God’s promises are still yes and amen.
And as for me…
I still have my yes.
