👉 Check Your Heart: You’re Called to Love, Not Just Lead

There comes a point in your walk with Christ where you have to stop evaluating everyone else… and start examining your own heart.

I’ve experienced it firsthand, people who say they love God, who sit in pulpits, who lead ministries, who speak the Word… yet struggle to truly love people.

And we have to be honest about this.

Because you cannot represent Christ and reject His people.

If you find yourself easily irritated, constantly judging, avoiding people, or approaching others with a hardened or pre-judged mindset… that is not something to justify. That is something to bring before God.

We have to ask the Lord to search us and deal with what’s in us.

Sometimes it’s not “discernment”… it’s a wounded heart.

Sometimes it’s not “boundaries”… it’s bitterness.

Sometimes it’s not “protecting your peace”… it’s pride.

And God is not pleased with a heart that serves publicly but resents privately.

The truth is, loving people is not optional in the Kingdom.

📖 “And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” — Matthew 22:37–39

📖 “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” — 1 John 4:8

📖 “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you…

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another…” — Ephesians 4:31–32

You can preach powerfully…

You can serve consistently…

You can lead effectively…

But if love is missing, the foundation is off.

God is calling His people higher in this hour.

Not just to look the part…

Not just to sound the part…

But to LOVE like Him.

That means loving the difficult people.

That means being patient when it’s inconvenient.

That means checking your face, your tone, your attitude, and your thoughts before they ever come out of your mouth.

Because sometimes… your face will reveal what’s really in your heart.

Are you approachable?

When people come to you, do they encounter the love of Jesus in you…

or do they feel your flesh?

Your expressions speak.

Your tone speaks.

Your posture speaks.

And whether we realize it or not, people are experiencing something when they experience us.

📖 “A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.” — Proverbs 15:1

📖 “Let your speech be always with grace…” — Colossians 4:6

We are called to reflect Christ in more than just our words

but in how we carry ourselves.

So before you respond… before you react… before you speak

Check your heart.

Ask the Lord:

“God, if there is anything in me that resents people, judges unfairly, or lacks compassion… remove it. Make my heart like Yours.”

Because a surrendered walk isn’t just about obedience in action…

It’s about transformation in the heart.

Yes Lord this was so on point in this season,we should always check our heart posture before dealing with anyone because you don’t want to be the reason anyone turns from Christ and or feel unloved.
