đź“– Main Scripture:
Romans 12:2 (KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The ways of the world “worldly systems” come to simply pull us away from God.
How?
By distracting us from His word, which is the truth. On a daily basis we have many distractions that come up taking our focus away from God, excluding our day to day life roles and responsibilities like work and home duties, school, business deadlines, kids, etc.
No, I’m talking about the things we are doing in between those things:
playing games on the phone
playing video games
gossiping with anyone (family, friends, co-workers)
mental distractions, daydreaming, toxic relationships,
and the most common is social media.
These worldly distractions hinder our relationship with Christ.
They continue to cause delay in a day that already doesn't seem to have enough hours in it.
Think about social media and how easy it is to find yourself conforming to the world when you can see everything going on right at your fingertips.
We just spend too much time scrolling post after post, video after video and before you know it time has gotten away and guess what?
You have not made any time for God. You have fed your flesh when you are supposed to be killing it.
Now, do not get me wrong, social media has some great qualities and benefits, but let’s be honest we mishandle and allow it to keep us distracted way more than we should.
Treating God like the laundry that gets washed and dried in a day, but folded 7-10 business days later.
Come on now let’s be real!
But God is asking....
Can He distract you?
Heart Check and Reflection
Can you choose to be in His presence, scrolling from verse to verse in His word, can He preoccupy your time, giving you conviction, realization, and revelation?
Can He give you the direction to your next?
Help you see the work of the enemy from a distance?
Help you reflect and realize when it's not even the enemy, it's you vs you.
My God! Sometimes the enemy is the "Inner Me."
Can God be your distraction?
Will you allow Him to comfort you, give you peace (which surpasses all understanding) and quiet the chaos that surrounds you?
“and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
â€â€Philippians‬ â€4‬:â€7‬ â€NKJV‬‬
Will you let Him ground you... hide you in Him and His unfailing love.. In His unwavering commitment to never leave nor forsake you?
Are you willing to shift your mindset and remove distractions that are not of God?
Removing stagnation, procrastination, and lack of focus... removing all unclean spirits that interfere with you allowing Him to renew your mind..
The Lord said He will give us a clean heart filled with love, forgiveness, compassion, grace for ourselves, our spouses and children, our family members, our neighbors, the un-believers , our brothers and sisters in Christ, and especially our enemies.
Romans 12:21 says, “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Â
And sometimes the evil we must overcome first is the evil trying to rise up within us. The anger, bitterness, pride, unforgiveness, offense, and fleshly reactions that try to conquer our hearts.
Â
We cannot conquer evil around us while refusing to surrender the evil within us. Let the Lord search your heart, renew your mind, and teach you how to respond with love, truth, patience, and obedience.
Â
Conquer evil with good, starting with yourself.
So as you go into your place of prayer ask God to remove all distractions that do not and will not draw you closer to Jesus.. He is always at the other end of that phone , He's just waiting on you to pick up and make the call.
